Steven Beard
Chief Executive Officer

Steven is the Group Chief Executive who joined the Agilisys Board initially as Chief Financial Officer taking charge of the group’s finance, procurement and India operations. Steven has extensive experience with high growth entrepreneurial organisations, especially within the business services sector.

He joined Agilisys from Xchanging plc, the global business process and technology company; over his 10 years there he held a number of senior positions at both the company’s UK and US operations, serving on the plc Management board. Prior to Xchanging, Steven was CFO of Redwave plc, the U.K.–based venture capital business. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

David Abensour

David Abensour
Chief Technology Officer

David joined Agilisys in 1999 and has since worked on strategy, management and delivery for major clients and group companies alike. He worked closely with many of our start-up technology companies in their early stages, for example spending three years with Fluency leading architecture, product definition and operational management before returning to Agilisys.

Before Agilisys, David worked in Antarctica, Iceland and Norway maintaining and operating geophysical survey systems. He also worked with SRI International on Natural Language and AI processing software. Before commercial life, David studied and then supervised Computer Science at Cambridge University, doing PhD, MPhil and BA degrees.

Kay Andrews

Kay Andrews
Executive Director – Client Development

Kay is the Executive Director of Agilisys, and has more than two decades of global IT and Business Services experience.  Kay has been CEO of Agilisys for the last 4 years and has now taken a role on the Agilisys Board focussed on expanding key client relationships and setting the direction for expansion and growth of the company. Her track record of achievement demonstrates her ability to combine sustainable business growth with effective customer management and service delivery.

Prior to working at Agilisys, Kay spent 13 years at Perot Systems and 3 years as Executive Director for Local Government at Liberata. Kay holds a first class degree in Mathematics and an MBA.

Stephen Biggs

Stephen Biggs
Strategic Partnerships Managing Director

Stephen is responsible for client satisfaction, delivery and growth for our local government partnerships with Hammersmith & Fulham, Rochdale, Oldham, Tower Hamlets, and North Somerset Councils.

Stephen previously held senior leadership roles with Logica and Serco, following a career which started in the public sector and then led to a number of years in consulting and advisory roles.

Nicky Cox
Managing Partner Projects & Propositions

Nicky is responsible for the Projects & Propositions business unit who deliver professional services across the business. He is also Partnership Director of Agilisys’ partnership with the London Borough of Barnet.

Nicky joined Agilisys in 2010 after 5 years as an independent consultant delivering projects for clients such as Tube Lines, University of Southampton and Hyde Housing. Prior to that Nicky has held consulting roles at PA Consulting Group and the Forum Concept working for private sector clients including First Group, Esselte and BP.

Sean Grimes

Sean Grimes
Operations Director

Sean is responsible for our business-wide core capabilities, including IT and cloud, Customer Services, and Business Process Services, ensuring these offerings continue to develop to meet customer needs. Sean is also responsible for strategic development of our Healthcare business. 

Sean joined Agilisys from Cambridge Management Consultants, where he spent six years managing several strategic engagements throughout Europe. Sean holds a 1st class degree in Business Studies and Quantitative Business Analysis.

Sue Lees
CEO, Elevate East London

Sue is the Chief Executive of Elevate East London where she oversees the joint venture’s continued growth, profitability and business development. As Elevate CEO, she is a member of the Elevate LLP board, working directly with the Agilisys and Barking and Dagenham Council management.

Sue joined Elevate from Barking and Dagenham Council, where she held the role of Divisional Director of Assets and Commercial Services. Her experience within the public sector spans more than 10 years in senior roles, including CEO at Barking and Havering LIFT Co, a key supplier of health centres to the NHS. Sue is also a Chartered Accountant.

Andrew Mindenhall

Business Development Director

Andrew is the Business Development Director and one of the founding members of Agilisys, responsible for winning new business and building strategic relationships with clients. Andrew started at Agilisys over 13 years ago as the Director for Human Resources before going on to lead a number of our strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining Agilisys, Andrew had a number of senior operational roles with Waddingtons plc, Marshalls plc, and Bettys and Taylors Group. _______________________________________________________________________________________

Simon Mounsey

Head of Human Resources

Simon is responsible for HR and Resourcing across our company, including our partnerships. Since joining Agilisys in 2003 from major recruitment provider, Manpower, Simon has been responsible for implementing Agilisys’ Performance Management Framework and for the HR transition delivery of each of our Strategic Partnerships.

Nigel Muirhead

Nigel Muirhead
Strategic Partnerships Managing Director

Nigel is responsible for client satisfaction, people, and growth for a number of our strategic partnerships, including those with Cumbria, St.Helens and Sandwell Councils as well as SAV Credit. Nigel also plays a significant role in developing future accounts in both local and central government.

Nigel previously worked for M&S and Fujitsu Services in a variety of roles including HR, Logistics, Services and Account Management.

Ron Reynolds

Ron Reynolds
Commercial Director

As the Commercial Director for Agilisys, Ron is responsible for client satisfaction and commercial growth. Prior to joining Agilisys, Ron worked with portfolio investments at Blenheim Chalcot often holding Executive Management roles within the businesses to focus on growth and/or execute critical operational plans.

Previously, Ron has held director roles within Steria, including as CFO of NHS Shared Business Services Ltd, the company’s JV with the Department of Health. He joined Steria in 2001 as the CFO of what was then Xansa North. Ron initially developed his finance career within GE, and holds an MBA.

Alan Saffer

Alan Saffer
Chief Finance Officer

Alan is the Group Chief Finance Officer and is responsible for Finance, Commercial, Legal and Facilities Management within Agilisys. He has substantial experience as a board director in public, private and private equity backed companies in the technology and professional services sector.

Alan joined Agilisys from Halcrow Holdings Ltd, a global business with revenues of £500 million, specialising in the provision of consulting and engineering services. Previously, Alan has held CFO roles in the IT sector with Glotel Plc and Druid Group Plc, a FTSE 250 quoted company. Alan has a degree in Economics and Accounting from Manchester University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (UK) and a certified public accountant (USA) with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
