As part of the Agilisys Application Services Community, you will work in a system integration/solution project team to investigate feasible technical options, develop, design and implement technical solutions to support the wider business goals. You will bring specialist experience and skills to the team, specifically Biztalk development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards.
The specification, design and maintenance of structures for information storage and access to support business information needs.
The management of resources in order to plan, estimate and carry out programmes of systems development work to time, budget and quality targets and in accordance with appropriate standards.
The management and provision of expert advice on Biztalk development .
Work with the project manager, solution architects, third party suppliers and other stakeholders to assemble project plans and deliverables including time & cost estimations to deliver the solution
Provide technical risk assessment of the project & solution and help design risk mitigation strategies
Provide suitable documentation and guidance to project and support teams including solutions architects, system configuration teams, testing teams and other stakeholders. Ensure overall quality control
Engage with and sustain a good working relationship with key customer and 3rd party representatives

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge

Minimum 2 years experience in Biztalk
Minimum 3-4 years commercial experience in .NET (also ASP.NET)
Minimum of 1-2 years with the SQL Server Platform
Agile development experience desirable
Experience of both Win forms and Web forms
Windows 2000 \ 2003
High degree of computer literacy

Skills

Experience in Biztalk 2004 or later
Experience in service orientated architecture and designing web services
Experience in designing messaging solutions
Experience in designing business orchestration solutions
Experience in using the Business Rules Engine and Business Activity Monitoring
Experience in the installation, configuration and sizing of Biztalk solutions
Knowledge of XML/XSLT and Database mainly SQL server.
Working knowledge of data access layer technologies (i.e. C#, .NET2)
Familiarity with unit testing
Optional-Good understanding of the document generation solution such as Adobe tools that can take data in XML format and generate PDF documents

Qualifications

University degree, 2:1 or higher

Ability to work under pressure.
A flexible approach to travel and working hours is essential, as overnight stays away from home will be a feature of this role
