What do you do at Agilisys?

I programme manage transformation projects in the North West,
and completed a transformation of the Revenues and Benefits
Service for Rochdale Council earlier this year.

The programme was aimed at improving customer service whilst
reducing costs, and was very successful on both fronts. Benefit
processing performance has increased dramatically, in spite of
unprecedented work levels due to the recession, and the Council
has realised savings of over £300k per annum. A fast-track
claims service has proved very successful and popular with
customers and an on-line benefits claims service has been
introduced. In particular, my work focuses on the change management aspect of transformation, ensuring communication is clear and continuous which ensures the success of any organisational change. Currently, I am working on a business process review project for Rochdale’s face-to-face customer service to see how this could be improved, particularly focussing on channel shift and customer segmentation.

What attracted you to Agilisys?
The work at Agilisys is so varied it really gives you an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK. One minute you can be working on a long term project; the next one you’re developing the business case for a new project. In particular, I was attracted by the way that the senior executives, including the company’s founders, openly mix with all levels of the organisation, giving everyone a real opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Would you recommend Agilisys as an employer?
Most definitely. Agilisys has a mature approach to their employees and is very flexible around things like work/life balance. The energy of the organisation is really infectious and the senior management are some of the best I’ve ever worked with.
