Agilisys Wins Place on G-Cloud Framework
Framework allows simple procurement path for public sector through the CloudStore
Agilisys, one of the UK’s most innovative IT and business services providers, announced today it has been confirmed as a supplier on the Government Procurement Service G-Cloud ii framework. As a result, a number of Agilisys products and services, including the company’s recently launched Agilisys Digital platform, will be available through the CloudStore from today.
Agilisys was successful in all three lots bid for, and as such will be offering the following through the CloudStore:
• Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) – via Lot 1
• Software as a Service (SaaS) – via Lot 2 — This includes Agilisys Digital, an easy-to-implement platform allowing local authorities to digitally enable all core transactional services simply and cost-effectively, improving the citizen experience and creating significant efficiencies
• Specialist Cloud Services – via Lot 4
G-Cloud is a pan-Government collaborative framework for use by UK public sector bodies, to quickly access pre-approved cloud computing services through a dynamic procurement vehicle known as the CloudStore.
The CloudStore will help contribute to significant cost savings for its users; making the purchasing of services quicker, easier, cheaper and more transparent for the public sector and suppliers alike.
With a successful track record of working in partnership with public sector organisations, Agilisys is well placed to offer high quality and innovative cloud computing services through G-Cloud. Buyers have the assurance that suppliers – such as Agilisys – are pre-approved by Government as being agile, efficient and offer excellent value for money.
