AGILISYS CONTACT SERVICES GO BIG FOR RED NOSE DAY 2007 - THE BIG ONE!
Volunteers at the Agilisys Contact Centre in Barrow-in-Furness will be staffing the Red Nose Day Donation Line on March 16th

London, UK, 13 March 2007 - Agilisys, the UK's most innovative IT and business process service provider, is delighted to announce that volunteers in their Contact Centre in Barrow-in-Furness will be helping to staff the Red Nose Day Donation Line on Friday the 16th of March and raise large amounts of cash.
Over 200 volunteers will be at the Agilisys contact centre on the night, including Agilisys staff, friends and family, and support from the local organisations such as the Job Centre and the Local Hospital. The team will be taking calls throughout a live seven-hour TV extravaganza on BBC ONE, hosted by Jonathan Ross, Lenny Henry, Graham Norton, Russell Brand, Davina McCall, Chris Evans, Fearne Cotton, Harry Hill and Kate Thornton. Over £65 million was raised for Red Nose Day '05, and this year Agilisys hopes to help Comic Relief go even bigger!
Mike McGuckin, Managing Director of Agilisys Contact Services, who will also be on hand to take calls on the night, commented "We are really delighted to be supporting Comic Relief 2007. Our volunteers are really gearing up for this and getting excited - it will certainly make a change from their day jobs which includes work for the Department of Trade and Industry and for the Financial Services Industry. We're hoping to help Comic Relief raise more money than ever before and are glad that we can be part of this."
On the support from the call centres, Jan Brown, Comic Relief's Campaign Logistics Officer said: "Agilisys is one of a team of call centres taking donations and we'd like to say a massive thank you to all the staff that have given up their Friday night to Comic Relief."
Agilisys Contact Services is planning a number of activities to help keep money rolling in on the night; David Barber, better known as Fat Bloke from Harry Enfield, will be on hand to take calls, as will local personality David Marcus, who will be dressed up in pantomime character along with a few of his colleagues. In addition, there will be a raffle with fantastic prizes, a buffet lunch for 200, and magicians and jugglers to entertain. There will also be a few surprises on the night!
Red Nose Day is back and The Big One promises to be nothing short of enormous. With the Biggest Red Nose ever, a massive line up of famous faces and a lot of laughs on the box, it promises to be huge!
