Lincolnshire-based housing association selects Agilisys to help with arrears backlog
Agilisys has been named collection partner of choice for Ongo Homes Ltd following a highly successful pilot project with Lincolnshire’s leading housing association.
The Ongo Homes pilot took the form of a ‘champion challenge’ and involved four collection agencies who were set the task of reclaiming debt, including Former Tenant Arrears and Repairs Recharge debts, which were significantly aged.
Agilisys’ Revenue Collection service handled five separate batches of debt over a four month period and collected the most revenue during that time.
Maximising revenue collections and treating their customers with sensitivity and respect were the key criteria set by Ongo Homes, an organisation which has been helping people find a home in the North Lincolnshire area for almost ten years.
Impressed by Agilisys’ approach and the results they delivered, Ongo Homes has now awarded the company a two year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.
Agilisys Revenue Collection is an FCA regulated collections service that helps organisations tackle long-standing debt recovery problems. By drawing on its experience of improving services and reducing costs for more than 15 years, the service has supported thousands of public sector and third sector organisations to recover millions of pounds in potentially lost revenues.
Gareth Roebuck, Income Manager from Ongo Homes Ltd said: “The increase in revenue through this new partnership with Agilisys will enable Ongo to continue offering people homes they can afford, in accordance with the standard set out by the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency.”
Ian Biggadike, Director for Agilisys Revenue Collection, said: “We are delighted that Ongo Homes has chosen us as their debt recovery partner. We are looking forward to working with the team to jointly enhance and maximise revenue collection opportunities. Through our innovative collection approach we will help create a sustainable income stream for the housing association, based on recovery strategies that are tailored to the needs of Ongo’s customers.”
