Built for public services. Proven across blue light and government.

We’ve built data platforms for Essex Police, a national policing product available to all 43 forces, and a Command Centre for East of England Ambulance Service. We’ve delivered strategy for the Ministry of Justice in 18 months and NICE in 11 weeks. Our deepest roots are in local government — but the same capabilities work wherever public services need technology that delivers.

Essex Police — Analytics for Everyone

The A4E programme gave Essex Police an Azure and Power BI analytics platform for data-driven policing. A two-year contract from September 2022, designed to democratise data access across the force — so frontline officers and staff have self-service dashboards instead of waiting weeks for analyst reports.

The focus: high-harm crime prevention, operational efficiency, and building internal analytics capability so the force isn’t dependent on consultants forever. Officers who previously waited days for an analyst to run a report can now explore data themselves — understanding patterns, allocating resources, and acting on evidence.

This is what data-driven policing looks like when it’s built to last.

“Understanding data is key to Essex Police being an innovative, forward-thinking force.”

— Chief Constable Ben-Julian Harrington

“The Agilisys team have been a joy to work with and we would not be where we are today with A4E.”

— Jen Housego, Head of Digital Change, Essex Police

EEAST Command Centre

East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust handles over 1.2 million 999 calls a year and around 600,000 patient incidents. That volume demands real-time visibility — not retrospective reports delivered days after the fact.

Agilisys delivered a multi-phase engagement: Discovery in 2022, then an MVP Command Centre Platform for £297k over six months, with expansion phases following.

The Azure-based platform provides real-time demand and activity insights across three Ambulance Operating Centres — giving operational leaders the visibility they need to allocate resources as conditions change.

Procured via G-Cloud 13 call-off. Built for a security-sensitive environment where uptime isn’t optional and data governance is non-negotiable.

A major NHS ambulance trust chose Agilisys for a mission-critical platform — and came back for more. The multi-phase structure tells its own story: Discovery led to build, build led to expansion. That doesn’t happen unless the first phase works.

National Police Assaults App

Built by Agilisys with Microsoft, the National Police Wellbeing Service, and Police Digital Service. A Power Apps product for reporting officer assaults under Operation Hampshire — available to all 43 UK police forces at no charge via Microsoft 365.

Less than five minutes per report. Feeds a national database that gives police leaders visibility of assaults on their officers for the first time at scale. Before this, reporting was inconsistent, incomplete, and often didn’t happen at all.

This isn’t a consulting engagement — it’s a product, built once, maintained centrally, and available to every force that wants it.

No procurement needed. No cost to forces. Just switch it on through existing Microsoft 365 licences.

Wider police portfolio

Avon & Somerset Police — Data Strategy and Roadmap plus Information Governance review. A multi-phase engagement and a named reference alongside Essex. This is delivered work, not pipeline.

Beyond these delivered engagements, Agilisys has systematic relationships across policing — 17+ police clients on record, including Metropolitan Police, Greater Manchester Police, City of London, Thames Valley, and Hertfordshire among others.

Folder count doesn’t equal delivery. But it demonstrates systematic engagement with police forces — not one-off opportunism. We understand policing environments, security requirements, and the procurement routes that work.
