Environmental Information Regulations requests follow a similar pattern to FOI but with distinct legal requirements — different exemption regimes, a presumption in favour of disclosure, and separate appeal routes. Many councils handle EIR and FOI through the same team, with the same manual process and the same deadline pressure.
EIR Genie applies the Genie approach to this specific workflow: structured, compliant draft responses from existing council data and documents, ready for officer review.
