Next level policing – Creating capacity through automation

Tuesday 28th June, 11.25-11.45

Capacity is one of the largest challenges currently facing the public sector and policing is no different. The increasing complexity and changing nature of demand are creating significant difficulties for forces already struggling with stretched resources. Agilisys see automation as a crucial technology for the sector, if it is to unlock capacity, improve wellbeing and enhance service delivery.

The good news is that the ability to free resources from administrative tasks and improve operational performance is available now, and we are extensively supporting the public sector to do this. In this session Simon Perks, Head of Automation and AI at Agilisys and Naomi Bolton, Senior Consultant at Agilisys, will share their views on where they see automation unlocking benefits for policing (being brave) and how bringing technology to the forefront will create greater retention, engagement and capacity to meet future demand, providing examples of opportunity and inflight programmes to support next steps of the service transformation journey.

Tuesday 28th June, 18.20-18.50

Join James West, UK Police & Justice Lead at Agilisys and Chief Inspector Dave Brewster, National Operation Hampshire Coordinator, College of Policing, as they discuss how the Police Digital Service and Agilisys worked in partnership to rapidly create and roll out the Oscar Kilo App. Developed utilising existing Microsoft technologies available to policing, we will share our approach and lessons learnt during the creation of this app that enables national collation of accurate assault data.
